It has no fast forward/rewind and skip/go back buttons nor video annotaiton funcitons like bookmarking.

Im on Yosemite and I couldn’t use the secondary subtitle. The subtitle can display one at a time only. The support website are in Chinese. I don’t know where to ask for the support direrctly.
Crashes all the time
It crashes all the time. I could not even open the file now.
Terrible
This is just annoying when You try to play a certain video and 4/5 tries are crashing. Don’t buy.
Plays my video files flawlessly NO issues! Great purchase! Ive tried MplayerX and 1player 2015 from the app store and they both sucked/no good! this is awesome compared to those 2. Thanks! I am very happy!
SPlayerX is a good video player that has run all of my movie files. It struggles to play some of my HD MKV files, otherwise I would have rated the app 5 stars.
Says it supports subtitles but it`s a mess
Doesn`t load external str subtitles, no user guide, bad support. Don’t buy. Go for VLC for MAC and be happy.
WHERE IS THE LOOPING??
How can you have a video player with no loop? And not even bother to put it in to begin with?? Why would anybody do this??
I’ve been using this app for months worked great until one day I played video but it won’t fill the whole screen. everytime I plays video there are black gap on the bottom, left and right sides of my screen. I’ve been trying to find a way to make it back normal but I dont know how to do it. tried to go to the support page butt all in chinese which is no good. tried google for solution but still can’t find any. IF ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW !!! Thanks
I installed this over the summer and it worked great. Just recently it started taking forever to open videos. It’s faster when i drag videos to the window but opening from the menu or double clicking can take a minute or more. Used to be an excellent network streamer too but now it’s useless. uninstalled. Avoid until they fix it.

I switched to SPlayer from MPlayerX and ElMedia Players. MPlayerX had issues playing with some my movie videos. I tried several other players, including the paid verison of ElMedia Player. None satisfied me. Finally I came across SPlayer, and found it flawless and smooth playing my videos. Particualarly, I like its minimal design and some thoughful features. 1) Fast loading and playing. Never delay and waiting. 2) easy control with arrows buttons for fast forwards and backwards, and many other shortcuts. 3) [Most Awesome] Smart subtitling !! It automatically search internet and load the movie subtitles. It’s so useful!! It used to take me lot of time to look up subtitle for movies. Now all these efforts are saved. It’s very useful for watching movies and learning new language too. I love it. Highly recommend to everyone. It’s one of the best app I used in 2015. Thank you, SPlayer Team.
Functional but a little buggy
Volume adjustment is reversed on Macs that set natural scrolling direction.
